Price on memory modules going up, up, up!
Due to some product issues in one of Samsungs chip plants in China we are seeing some major increases on most types of memory modules. The increases seem to mainly affect DDR2 memory, but DDR3 is expected to start increasing soon as well.
These price changes apply to both desktop and notebook memory modules.
The prices you see on our site will continue to change to reflect the changes in our cost prices.
For information, Samsung is the world’s largest manufacturer of IC (the small black chips used to build memory modules) and a shortage within the Samsung supply network as a knock-on effect on the pricing of all memory modules.
