Works fine, but seems very expensive

Works fine, no known problems, but seems very expensive. 16GB of DDR3 SODIMM is currently less than I paid for 8GB of DDR2 SODIMM. Presumably this is mainly due to prevailing prices of DDR2 and DDR3 but that doesn't console me or my pocket much. Delivery was within two or three days. Minimal packaging but it was sufficient.

After searching the net rigorously and speccing up the right requirements at Crucial's website, I found this Patriot RAM kit at a really good price. I used the kit to easily upgrade the RAM in my Vaio laptop and it has improved performance greatly. The lifetime warranty is also a comfort should anything ever go wrong.
